Chapter Two

Molly and Jericho reached their hotel room and quickly jumped inside. Chris threw their bags in the corner and dropped himself on the bed. "What a hell of a night this has been," Chris grunted. Molly leaned against the wall and fidgeted with her fingers. Chris looked up and wondered why she was so scared. He braced himself on his elbows. "Baby, its ok," he said. He patted the place next to him on the bed, signaling for Molly to join him. She slowly made her way towards him and laid down on the bed.

Tears were still forming in her eyes. Her eyes were also still very red and swollen from all the crying. Her cheeks were flushed as well. Chris stroked her cheek lightly and kissed her forehead. "You fine now honey. That animal will never touch you again. I swear by our marriage, he will never hurt you as long as I am still breathing," Chris forcefully yet softly said. A small sad smile crossed Molly's face. She did feel a lot safer now. She tried to keep her tears in, but some stray ones still managed to slip out.

A sad look crossed Chris' face. He didn't like to see his wife like this. He knew she was scared out of her mind. Wouldn't you be if you had yourself manhandled by a 500-pound monster? He cupped her face and kissed her softly. "Please don't cry Molly, I cant stand to see you like this," Chris admitted. Molly wrapped her arms around his neck and cried in his neck. Her body was trembling like crazy. Chris pulled away from her and looked in her eyes.

"Why don't you go take a shower? You need some relief before you go to bed," he said. Molly nodded her head slowly and got up. Without saying a word, she went to her bag and started to pick out some clothes. None of them spoke, the only sounds that could be heard was that of the sniffling from Molly. Chris couldn't help but get angry at the sight of her. He was so angry at Big Show for what he did. He didn't just beat up Molly, he psychologically crushed her. Molly got up and headed to the bathroom. Chris snapped out of his daze when he heard the lock click of the bathroom door. This was odd. Molly never locked, or even closed the bathroom door when they were together.

Chris rose from the bed and headed to the balcony. He needed some air. He gripped the railing and looked down at the people below. "Why didn't I get there faster? Why didn't I get there before he even touched her?" Chris yelled to himself. He couldn't help but feel ashamed of himself. He had promised in front of God to love, honor and protect her. "I couldn't even protect her!" he yelled to himself. He got even angrier at Big Show when he heard Molly crying in the bathroom. Chris took his fist and rammed it into the wall. He was going to make Big Show pay for what he had done to his wife.

Molly entered the bathroom and placed her fresh clothes on the big sink. She looked in the mirror and nearly gasped at the sight. Her eyes were swelled and her cheeks were all puffy. Her body was so soar from the match and the happenings from Big Show. Fear came running back to her body as she remembered once again what happened. Molly let herself fall to the floor, crying hysterically. She buried her face in her hands, so ashamed of everything that had happened. She felt so guilty about what happened to Victoria. "I should have kept my big mouth shut! Then Paul wouldn't have touched her!" she screamed to herself.

Molly backed herself against the door and continued crying. She tried to stay quiet, she didn't want Chris to hear her. She pulled her knees up to her chest and rocked slowly. "Why is this happening?" she asked herself repeatedly. After a good ten minutes, Molly finally got up and stepped into the shower. She just stood under the shower, not even bothering to pick up the soap bar. She just let the water rinse over her. Molly closed her eyes and concentrated on one thing. She concentrated on the only thing that kept her sane at the moment. She thought about how she was going to kill Paul Heyman for what he was doing to her.

Molly slipped out of her shower and dried herself, and put her clothes on. She wiped the mirror with her towel and slightly smiled at her reflection. She had on a 'Larger than Life' Chris Jericho T-shirt on. She loved the shirt so much that she always slept in it. But that smile was quickly gone when she saw Paul appear in the reflection. She turned around, but nobody was there. She looked back in the mirror and there he was. "I am coming for you!" Paul bellowed. Molly screamed and threw a bottle of shampoo at the mirror. She big mirror slightly cracked, but the noise was still loud. "I am coming for you!" Paul bellowed.

Molly backed herself in the corner, crying once more. There was a sudden banging on the door. "Moll honey, open the door!" Chris screamed. His voice was filled with panic. He heard the glass crack, and he wanted to see if she was all right. Molly squeezed her head and shook her head. "This isn't real!" she screamed, hitting her head repeatedly. Chris heard her screaming and banged on the door again. "Molly, please open the door!" Chris cried out. Molly didn't listen and just continued crying. She crawled into the tub and turned on the water. "This is isn't real," she muttered to herself.

"Molly, please," Chris pleaded. Chris slid down to the floor and continued to ask Molly to open the damn door. After 20 minutes Chris gave up and decided to call for help. He quickly got up and headed to the phone. He thought for a second about who he was going to call, and decided to call Terri, seeing how she and Molly were best friends. He took out Molly's cell phone and looked for Terri's number. He found it at dialed it.

As the phone rung, Molly slowly came out of the bathroom. Chris saw her and dropped the phone. "Molly," she said. He quickly went to her and held her tightly. Molly fell into his arms and closed her eyes. She was so exhausted. "Chris," she weakly called out and then pasted out. Chris lifted her up and placed her on the bed. He gently stroked her cheek as he watched her. Tears formed in his eyes, but he refused to let them fall. "I love you cupcake," he whispered and softly kissed her forehead.

Chris got up and pulled the blanket over Molly. He turned off the lamp on the nightstand and headed to the balcony. He watched the cool night sky and saw a shooting star. Chris closed his eyes and made a wish. "I wish I may, I wish I might to have this wish I wish tonight. Please forgive me after I kill Big Show for what he has done to my wife," Chris softly wished. He took in a deep breath and dropped himself in the chair. Chris buried his face in his head and contemplated in his head how he was going to physically torture the Big Show.

Molly fluttered her eyes open and looked around. It was almost dawn as she could see the sun peaking over the mountaintop. She looked to her side and noticed that the clock read 6:12 a.m. She took in a deep breath and looked to the other side. Molly seemed confused that her husband was not at her side. "Chris?" Molly called out. She sat up and looked around. His bag was still there, ands so were his shoes. Molly turned her attention to the slide door and saw a foot. She assumed that it was Chris'. She jumped out of bed and headed towards the balcony.

Chris was still sitting in the chair, and he was still mumbling to himself. Molly squatted down so that they were at eye level. "Hey there," she whispered as she lifted Chris by his chin. Chris gave her a tired smile. "How are you feeling?" he asked through a loud yawn. Molly smiled. "I'm ok now. Baby, you need some sleep," she said. She tried to pull him up, but Chris sat back down.

"Wait a second. Are you sure you are ok?" Chris asked. Molly nodded her head and looked at the floor. "I'm sorry about last night," she softly whimpered. Chris lifted her by her chin and kissed her forehead. "Don't worry about that. And don't you worry about that asshole Big Show. I am going to make him pay for what he did," Chris softly yelled. Molly got up and pulled Jericho with her. She wrapped her arms around him tightly. "Don't let him get me," Molly pleaded. Chris softly stroked her hair.

"I'm not going to let him ever touch you again," Chris promised. Molly smiled and closed her eyes. She knew that Chris would protect her from him. But little did Chris know that Molly was not referring to the Big Show.
