Update: Molly Holly is a true trooper, defending her WWE I'm Better Than You Championship. And defend it she did, against TWO opponents in TWO SEPARATE MATCHES. Note-The WWE IBTY Title is an inter-gender title, men can get involved in the fracas as well. In any case, Nidia stepped up to the plate for a rematch, but she got scared off before the match started, watching Molly prepare for the match. This should surprise no one, as Molly Holly is a true natural...that Great American Athlete in the Jim Thorpe mold, the kind of competitor a whole generation can rally around and sing the praises of. But now, no Nidia...which means no opponent, and of course no match, right? Nope. I'M wrong, this time. Jacquelyn Moore stepped up to the plate and they proceeded to go back and forth for 16:33 until Molly demanded that Jacquelyn know her place and submit to the citadel of power that Molly represents. Jacquelyn complied, and the match was declared a sweeping success as Molly won by Intimidation(Jacquelyn later recanted and decided that it was best to give the fans what they REALLY wanted, a Molly pinfall victory. And one powerbomb later, that's what the fans got). Molly Holly, 2-0 as WWE IBTY Champion!!!
A match of this level of intensity and skill would be enough for most workers, but Molly transcends the sport. Molly is a COMPETITOR, indeed the greatest competitor man has ever known since man formed his first, true thought. She realizes that the title may be about her, but it is the fans who propel her to such heights and flights of fancy as to be able to not only DREAM the unbelievable...but to ACHIEVE the unbelievable as well. With that said, Molly formed her new base of operations, Team Molly, consisting of her sponsors Sofia Vergara and Halle Berry, her own ring-announcer, Vanessa Williams, her personal trainer (like she needs one), Shanelle Workman, and her manager, the inestimable Janeane Garofalo. They all just happened to be there and realized that Molly needed their fiscal support to supplant any and all preconceptions as regarding women and wrestling. In any case, Val Venis came out, challenged Molly to a Loser-Eats-A-McRib Sandwich Match for the WWE IBTY Title and, let's just say Molly is 3-0 as WWE IBTY Champion and Val finds the McRib to be just as nasty and unpalatable as my dog does. Molly Rules!!!
